    Amazing

Really great taste, I love the crunchy radish. That’s my first time to try radish kimchi ever and I really love it! The packaging is really good, no smell in the fridge at all.

    Perfect radish!

This is the nicest radish kimchi I bought. I find the ones from the shops not crunchy enough. This is incredibly authentic and exactly what I want from my radish kimchi. I’m Korean and miss the good kimchi my mum used to make and this is just as good!

    Interesting, but slightly dry.

My knowledge of radish kimchi is limited to one purchase from KV so I am certainly not an expert here - however whilst an enjoyable eating experience, even having cut the raddish chunks down in size a bit before storing, there seemed to be very little liquid - resulting in a much drier addition to stir fry & the like.

It would be interesting to know if this is how it's supposed to be - but it's the polar opposite of the Bark kimchi that has *all* the liquid.

Thank you for your feedback and for trying our radish kimchi! You’ve raised a great question.

The liquid in radish kimchi (kkakdugi) actually comes from the radish itself during the fermentation process. Sometimes, depending on the batch or the natural water content of the radishes, there can be less liquid produced—so it may turn out drier than other types of kimchi. This is quite normal and can vary from time to time.

On the other hand, with Baek Kimchi, we make a special recipe liquid from scratch and fully submerge the cabbage in it for fermentation. That’s why Baek Kimchi tends to have much more liquid compared to radish kimchi.

I hope this helps explain the difference! Thank you again for your feedback and for being curious about the process.
